My story
I come from the French scientific preparatory classes: two very dense years of maths and logic before engineering school. I picked up one habit there: leaving nothing vague.
For three years I have also been teaching maths, computer science and physics: private lessons, online lessons, volunteering. More than twenty students in all. The mistake I see most often is rushing in without understanding the logic underneath. My students tell me I adapt to them. With a client I try to do the same: first we understand what you need, then we build.
My first real project was a bot for a FiveM online roleplay server, over 800 members. It handles roles and shifts, and it must never go down. It held up, and that is when I understood what it means to write something other people depend on.
Since then I have written Python programs that save hours of manual work, dashboards that turn raw figures into decisions, and complete apps, from the database to going live. I can also set up, configure and run servers.
